Hertzberg Furs began doing business in Rocky Mount, North Carolina,
in 1946. A second store, Hertzberg Furs of Raleigh, Inc., was opened in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1981. The original Rocky Mount store closed
in December 2002.

Hertzberg Furs of Raleigh, Inc. is the Carolina's leading source for "certified" cold storage on the premises. Storage is available in our UL Certified climate-controlled vault. Expert service is available to you no matter where you purchased your fur. Other items we accept for "certified" cold storage include leather and suede garments, cashmeres, wedding gowns, and other fine apparel.

Cleaning / reconditioning, alterations, repairs, appraisals, and restyling are carefully done in our on-site workrooms. Our fur specialists in Raleigh include furriers who are able to assist and advise you at your convenience.
