Hertzberg Furs began doing business in Rocky Mount, North Carolina,
in 1946. A second store, Hertzberg Furs of Raleigh, Inc., was opened in Raleigh, North Carolina, in 1981. The original Rocky Mount store closed
in December 2002.

Hertzberg Furs of Raleigh, Inc. is eastern North Carolina's only source for "certified" cold storage on the premises. Storage is available in our 3 UL Certified climate-controlled vaults. Any service is available to you no matter where you purchased your fur. Other items we accept for "certified" cold storage include leather and suede garments, cashmeres, wedding gowns, and other fine apparel.

Cleaning / reconditioning, alterations, repairs, appraisals, and restyling are carefully done in our on-site workrooms. The expert staff in Raleigh include two furriers who are available to assist you at your convenience. We believe well informed customers will make better decisions and receive more value for money spent doing business with us.
